What exactly is NP Enterprises?
With over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession, 15 of those years as a board certified Nurse Practitioner Nikki, found herself called by a higher power to bring a higher level of healthcare to those patients that have difficulty getting out to an ambulatory care setting due to their chronic health conditions. After caring for homebound patients for 10 years Nikki saw a need for chronic wound management in the home. This led her to finding NP Enterprises in February of 2024. By using NP Enterprises we bring the wound care doctor to you to treat your chronic wounds in the comfort of your home.
How are your services paid for?
Our services are covered by Medicare Part B, private insurance plans and self-pay options.
What can I expect from a visit?
Our staff will conduct an initial visit in person in the comfort of your home which could last roughly one hour or more. If a consult visit is needed prior to determining your wound care needs a telemedicine visit may occur with the assistance of a home healthcare nurse. Follow-up visits are then scheduled depending on your active wound care needs.
How do I communicate with my Nurse Practitioner?
You can call or text the office directly through our HIPPA compliant platform. We also have a patient portal where you or a family member can sign up to have access to your medical records as well as allow you to e-mail your wound care provider directly.
Is NP Enterprises the same as Home Healthcare?
No. NP Enterprises consists of Certified Wound Care Specialists that work alongside your home health nursing team. We collaborate with your medical care team to provide you with a comprehensive care plan to ensure the best outcome possible.

What services are provided?
An initial detailed consultation to review the patient's full medical history as well as wound history to ensure appropriate treatment measures are chosen. Treatment options include multiple different conservative therapies such as creams, ointments, medicated dressings to treat or prevent infections, compression type dressings, sharp debridement and negative pressure wound therapy to name a few. When appropriate we offer Advanced Wound Therapy Options once all conservative treatment measures have failed to show wound progress.
